I spent almost 7 hours in the ER on Wednesday. I started spotting heavily and thought that I was miscarrying. After waiting 4 hours in the ER the doctor saw me. He put an IV in my arm, took plenty of blood for tests, gave me a shot in the backside, several exams, an ultrasound in which I heard the heart beat (190bpm) which I hear is VERY strong for early pregnancy. I think I'm having a girl. :)
Anyway, the doc said that I was ok and that everything should stay healthy. He also said that the bloodwork came back really good and matched up to the ultrasound. Baby looks good, although looks like a bean. It was cute and totally weird. I can't believe I am pregnant. Awesome. But oh so weird.
I've been sick off and on, nausea, definite food aversions (like everything under the sun), my lower abdomen has already gotten larger and it just feels like it's constantly stretching. So tired, I wake up from a long nap and feel like I need to go back to sleep.
Anyway, Hubb and I are so excited. We are due Feb 1st however I have an intuition that it'll be mid January when she is due. From November until February we have several birthdays, holidays, our anniversary and expecting our first child how AWESOME is that?! We will have to like save up the whole year just to get through those 4 months because we'll be spending it all! Jk.
Been on bedrest this week, and oh so ready to be back on my bike and walks at night!
First prenatal appointment is this coming Monday. I cannot wait!
Blessings.
